A good crowd turned out Sunday afternoon, as Radford High School held its Fall Sports Award program.

Several members of the football, golf, boys/girls cross country and volleyball teams were recognized during the event.

Football

Several members of the football team were recognized for their accomplishments this season. Those named to the first team all-district or first team all-region received a plaque.

Those recognized for their achievements include Alan O’Berry (TRD First Team Defensive Linemen, TRD Linemen of The Year and TRD Defensive Player Of The Year, First Team All-Region Defensive Linemen, First Team All Timesland –Defensive Linemen and First Team VA Preps Defensive Linemen) Shaquille Saunders (TRD First Team Defensive Linemen , First Team All-Region Defensive Linemen and Second Team All Timesland- Defensive Linemen ) Corey Dark (TRD First Team Defensive Back , First Team All-Region –Defensive Back, Second Team All Timesland – Defensive Back and Second Team Running Back), William Minter (TRD First Team Defensive Back, Second Team All-Region Defensive Back and TRD Second Team at Wide Receiver And Kick Returner), Hunter Marshall (TRD First Team Wildcat Quarterback, TRD Honorable Mention Linebacker and Honorable Mention and All-Region Wildcat Quarterback), Hunter Griffitts (TRD First Team Linebacker, TRD Second Team Running Back and Honorable Mention All-Region Linebacker), Dashon Devore (TRD First Team Wide Receiver , TRD Second Team Defensive Back and Honorable Mention All-Region Wide Receiver) and Eric Benitez (TRD Second Team Linebackers and First Team Sizzlin Sophomore at All Timesland Linebacker).

Other gridiron honorees were Caleb Findley (TRD Second Team Punter and Kicker), Justan Bland (TRD Second Team Offensive Linemen), Cody Morgan (TRD Second Team Offensive Linemen), Deion Baylor (TRD Honorable Mention Defensive Linemen), Tim Cox (TRD Honorable Mention Offensive Linemen), D’Vante Edwards (TRD Honorable Mention Offensive Linemen), Timmy Worles (TRD Honorable Mention Tightend) and RJ Jordan (Honorable Mention TRD All Purpose Player and Second Team Sizzlin Sophomore All Timesland Kick Returner)

Golf

Zeke Shaffer was honored for putting his way to the Three Rivers District and Region C individual golf crowns this past fall.

Boys Cross Country

Walker Mogen, who was the Group A state champion this fall, was also recognized for his Three Rivers District and Region C championship titles, as well as being named to the all-district and all-region teams.

Others recognized included Matt Turk (all-district and all-region) and Joey Sutphin (all-district).

Girls Cross Country

Three Rivers District runner-up Kayla Crocker (all-district and all-region), Sadie Rose (all-district and all-region), Sarah Thompson (all-district and all-region), Sarah Showalter (all-district and all-region) and Hillary Nolen (all-district) were pointed out for their accomplishments.

Volleyball

Three members of the Bobcats volleyball team were honored for their play. They included Madi Shepherd (First Team all-district and regional honorable mention), Alexis Finley (Second Team all-district and Riley Harvey (all-district honorable mention).
