Radford remained perfect in Three Rivers District boys' basketball action, as the Bobcats held off host Glenvar, 59-52, Wednesday night. The win allowed Radford to clinch at least a tie for the regular-season title.
The Bobcats (15-3, 8-0 TRD) jumped out to a 15-12 advantage after the first quarter and extended their lead to 25-21 at the break. Radford outscored the Highlanders (17-7, 7-3) in the third quarter to pull out to a 45-37 lead heading into the final quarter. The Bobcats continued to hold the upper-hand, as they claimed the seven-point road win.
Isaiah Phillips led Radford with 21 points and Josh Little added 12 points.
Karlyn East paced Glenvar with 21 points and Chris Hodges scored 12 points.
