Radford's Allen O'Berry was named the Defensive Player and Lineman of the Year, while Giles' Brad Kessinger and Jeff Williams were selected as the Offensive Player and Coach of the Year, respectively, on the 2011 All-Three Rivers District football team.
O’Berry, who garnered the Defensive Player and Lineman of the Year honors, tallied 65 tackles and 66 assists. The senior also recorded 21.5 tackles for a loss, five quarterback pressures, one sack and one forced fumble.
Kessinger racked up 1,612 yards this season on 219 carries and 21 touchdowns. The senior also completed 19-of-42 passes for 393 yards and two touchdowns in being named the Offensive Player of the Year.
