It was Senior Night and Dayspring Christian didn't let the home fans go home disappointed, as the Lions roared to a lopsided 84-24 non-district boys' basketball win over Covington Boys Home Monday night in Blacksburg.
The Lions (22-4) jumped out to a commanding 52-13 halftime lead and continued to dominate in the second half, en route to the lopsided 60-point win.
Julian McLenny led Covington Boys Home with 18 points.
Andrew Lucas led Dayspring with a game-high 24 points, while Michael Ribbens and Thomas Weaver scored 11 points apiece.a
