North Cross Soccer Falls To Carlisle In OT

North-Cross-logoWith less than a minute remaining in overtime, Carlisle's Corey Gaylor scored on a missed clearance, as the Chiefs defeated North Cross, 3-2, Thursday evening in Roanoke.

The Raiders (3-3, 0-2) took an early 1-0 lead when Visnue Maharaj beat his man to get in a ono-on-one with the keeper and put the ball in the net.

The Chief's Marvin Soyka would score on a busted play to tie the game at 1-1. Late in the first half, Jihun Lee scored to give Carlisle a 2-1 advantage at the half.
