In the quarterfinals of the Blue Ridge Conference girl's soccer tournament, North Cross, the #2 seed, claimed a 4-1 win over the #7 seed, Virginia Episcopal, Tuesday evening in Roanoke.

Hallie Martin got the Raiders (16-3) on the board fifteen minutes into the game when Paxton Helmer found her at the top of the box for a rocket into the upper corner. Ten minutes later Rachael Wright got endline and found India Helmer cutting to the goal for a 2-0 lead. Three minutes later Anna Robison put one past the keeper to round out the scoring for the first.

The Bishops came out hard in the second and managed to get behind the North Cross defense and cut the lead to 3-1. However, the Raiders regained control and Hope Pollock added an insurance goal with nine minutes to go.

North Cross will play at home in the semi-finals against the winner of LCA and Carlise match.
