North Cross pulled away after the opening quarter, as the Raiders claimed an easy 48-16 girls' basketball win over Timberlake Christian Thursday night in Lynchburg.
Leading just 6-4 after the first quarter, the Raiders (4-7, 2-4) pulled out to an 18-10 halftime lead. North Cross continued to have its way in the second half, outscoring Timberlake 30-6 to run away with the 32-point road win.
Victoria Langhorn led Nortrhside with a game-high17 points and Sarah Maurer scored 12 points.
