Roanoke Catholic continues to be one of the premier teams in the area, as the Celtics defeated visiting Blacksburg 25-22, 25-20, 21-25, 25-21 in non-district volleyball action Monday night.

Lindsey Cusimano led the Bruins with 12 kills, 17 digs and two aces. Rachel Shockley tallied 10 kills and seven digs, Callie Freidberg posted 27 digs and Kara Woodward added five kills and eight digs.

Mairin Guilfoyle led the Celtics (10-1) with 24 kills and three blocks, while Ava Perez added 33 assists and two aces.
