In a battle of the two top teams in the Blue Ridge Conference, Liberty Christian took over the top spot with a 25-19, 25-11 and 25-17 volleyball win over Roanoke Catholic Tuesday night in Lynchburg.

Mairin Guilfoyle led the Celtics (19-2, 7-1 BRC) with seven kills, three blocks and two aces and  Ava Perez added 11 assists and four kills.

Jen Garrett paced Liberty Christian (23-6, 8-0 BRC) with 16 kills and 10 digs. Rachel Morris dished out 32 assists and 11 digs.
