Roanoke Catholic pulled away in the third quarter to claim a 52-28 Blue Ridge Conference girl's basketball win over Chatham Hall Thursday evening in Chatham.

Leading by a slim 19-18 lead at the half, the Celtics (2-0, 1-0) outscored the Turtles 21-3 in the third quarter to take a 40-21 lead into the fourth quarter. Roanoke Catholic continued to pull away in the fourth quarter to make the final 52-28.

Catherine Cullum led Roanoke Catholic with 11 points, including a trio of 3-pointers.
