Roanoke Valley Christian School jumped out to an early lead, as they cruised past Faith Christian Academy-Hurt, 57-43, in the semifinals of the VACA Southwest Region girls' basketball tournament Friday afternoon in Danville.
RVC will play in the championship game at 3:30 p.m. today. at Faith Christian in Roanoke.
The Eagles (19-5), who led 26-9 at the break, continued to have their way with Faith Christian-Hurt in the second half, as they flew away with the 14-point victory.
Hope Trossen led Faith Christian-Hurt with 23 points.
Elizabeth Jones led RVC with a game-high 25 points and Abby Johnson finished with 12 points.
