The Franklin County Lady Eagles Tennis Team hosted last years regional champions, Riverbend, Thursday at Franklin Country Recreational Park in the Semifinals of the Northwest Regional Team Tournament. Riverbend had beaten Franklin County in the Regionals for three straight years in the playoffs, last year in the finals, but the Lady Eagles won this one by a team score of 5-1.

The Franklin County Lady Eagles Tennis Team beat Freedom High School Eagles by a score of 5-1 Monday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Northwest District girls tennis tournaement.

The Franklin County Lady Eagles Tennis Team beat Patrick Henry tuesday evening by a 6-3 margin in Western Valley District action at Franklin County Recreation Park.

The GW Danville Ladies Tennis Team visited Franklin County Recreational Park Monday evening, to play the Lady Eagles tennis team. The Lady Eagles had gone away last Thursday to play GW in Danville and the team score ended up being exactly the same, an 8-1 win by the Lady Eagles.

The Lady Eagles went on the road Thursday evening to play in Danville against GW. The Lady Eagles came away with a team win, 8-1, in Western Valley District girls tennis action.

The Franklin County High School Lady Eagles Tennis Team visited Halifax High School Wednesday evening and came away with a 9-0 team victory in Western Valley District action.

William Fleming  visited Franklin Co. Park  Monday evening in Rocky Mount to face the Franklin County Highs School Lady Eagles Tennis Team. The Lady Eagles came away with the 9-0 team victory.

Patrick Henry scored six unanswered runs en route to a 6-4 nondistrict baseball win over Blacksburg Wednesday afternoon.
