Despite scoring a game-high 25 points, Tyler Evans and Hidden Valley came up short Tuesday night, as Franklin County claimed a 69-57 noin-district girl's basketball win in Roanoke.
The Titans (2-3), who trailed by two, 36-34, going into the fourth quarter, saw the Eagles (3-3) burn the nets for 33 points in the fourth quarter to pull away for the 12-point win.
Charmaine Hairston led Franklin County with 15 points. Destani Mitchell tossed in 13 points, while Miranda Crockett, Brianna Holland, and Tish Martin each scored 10 points apiece.
Elaina Hamrick added 18 points for Hidden Valley.
