Patrick Henry made it two in a row, as they broke loose for 26 unanswered points, in claiming a 26-7 non-district football win over host Bassett Friday night.
Bassett (1-1) would take a 7-0 lead earlt in the second quarter on an 80-yard gallop by Shaq Finney. From that point on, it was all Patrick Henry (2-0). A 71-yard jolt by Brandon Terry and a 3-yard and a 16-yard scamper by Zach Cochran would give the Patriots a 19-7 advantage at the half.
Patrick Henry would tack on a touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 3-yard run by Devontae Casey to make the final 26-7.
Shaq Finney led Bassett with 107 yards and a touchdown.
Brandon Terry paced Patrick Henry with 105 yards and a touchdown, while Zach Cochran had 76 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns.
