Patrick Henry held off a fourth quarter rally by Stonewall Jackson to claim an exciting 58-53 non-district boys' basketball win Saturday.
The Patriots (15-3), who led 33-24 at the break, extended their lead to 50-37 going into the fourth quarter. Stonewall Jackson (15-5) went on a 16-8 run in the final quarter to pull to within five. However, it wasn't enough, as Patrick Henry held on for the 58-53 win.
J.R. Washington led Stonewall Jackson with a game-high 20 points.
B.J. Hamlet paced Patrick Henry with 16 points. Marcus Banks scored 13 points and Christian Kirchman added 12 points.
