William Fleming took an early lead and never glanced back, as the Colonels claimed a 57-40 non-district gir's basketball win over Bassett Friday night in Ridgeway.

The Colonels marched out to a 9-3 lead after the initial quarter and increased their advantage to 20-7 at the half. William Fleming continued to hold the upper-hand in the second half, claiming the 17 point road win.

Erika Coleman led William Fleming with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Ryjae Andeerson recorded a game-high 21 points and Desiree Keeling pulled down 12 rebounds.

Emily Warrick led Bassett with 10 points.
