William Fleming held Blacksburg to eight second quarter points, as the Colonels marched to a 66-44 non-district boys' basketball win over Blacksburg Wednesday night in Roanoke.
With the score tied at 13-13 after the initial quarter, the Colonels (5-2) went on a 22-8 run in the second quarter to take a 35-21 lead. William Fleming upped its advantage to 46-31 in the third quarter. The Colonels continued to dominate in the fourth quarter, as they marched away with the 22-point win in front of the home crowd.
Kaleb Bohrnstedt led Blacksburg (4-3) with 18 points, including a trio of 3-pointers. Destiny Etuk added 11 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.
Miles Henderson paced William Fleming with a game-high 21 points, while Stephenson Paul contributed 11 points.
